As I mentioned before, I have been taking the time to finally set up my very own business.  It is quite the process for someone who does not exactly have a savvy business head on the shoulders.  I began speaking casually about it to my dear friend Mary who just recently helped her hubby start his guitar finishing business in Athens, Ga- for those interested the name is Eady Guitars.  After getting enough information together to speak to a counselor I have begun the journey towards an LLC -Limited Liability Company.
Believe me, I am taking notes and will share the process.  First I need to actually write it down in the order I did it! My head is still spinning.  I found my first stop to be quite helpful: SCORE San Antonio, a free SBA (Small Business Association) organization that will counsel those interested in starting a business.  Here is the LINK for San Antonio but I am sure there are branches all over the country.  In addition to answering every question my counselor also gave me a helpful tip.  We took a visit to my website while talking and he mentioned that the site was way to complicated.  He said even though it looked nice it took too many “clicks” to get to the good stuff… I noted his advice and made a few changes. Feel free to take a peek!
