Hey San Antonio Folks, I will be teaching two classes at the Southwest School of Art in downtown San Antonio for spring semester. Read below for details:
Cast Paper Pulp Jewelry - (3097 All Levels)
Mondays, 6-9PM Jan 23rd through April 9th
Cast paper adds a lightweight and colorful element to jewelry constructions. Learn the method for creating a one-part plaster mold for use in casting cotton paper pulp. Students will then work to create a series of jewelry that incorporates cast paper with metalsmithing techniques- push the boundaries of what jewelry can be!

Beginning Papermaking - (4001 All Levels)
Thursdays 9:30 AM-12:30 PM
Explore the art of handmade papermakng from preparing fiber, to color pigmenting and pulp painting. Learn how to make paper the color, the shape an size you want fr multiple uses including sculpturally wrapping paper around an armature.
We are going to have so much fun!
